Good things come...

... eventually. (I bet you thought I was going to finish that with "...to those who wait," but if I had a choice in the matter, fuck all that waiting!)

You'd never guess what came by truck today...

Yes, ladies and gents, that's the long-awaited Canon 40D with a 17-85mm IS USM lens.

Can you tell I am excited? How about I show you how excited I was. I was so excited that the moment I got the battery charged and the system unpacked, I started shooting like crazy and no one was immune.

So, what do you think?

P.S. I'm still fucking pissed at the UPS guy. When he dropped the camera off at around 6:45 p.m. (I'd been waiting since Wednesday) he had the gall to say "You know, I came by on Wednesday." No, really, fucktard? You came by on Wednesday, but you couldn't figure out where our fucking front door is? Moron.

Beautiful! I have a rebel and my images never look like that - I'm such a photography fail!

At least I have room for improvement & can enjoy yours!

Don't worry, come the revolution those brown uniform wearing wankrags will be the first into the 'Bio-fuel generat-o-maticatron 4000'.

In the mean tiem you can use your spangkly new camera to spy on him to find incriminating 'crap delivery guy' evidence. he shall be undone by the very thing he (eventually) delviered! Mua hahahahahahahahahahahahahah! (don't forget to stroke your cat and slowly rotate in a chair for the final reveal).

I really wanted to learn how to take pictures properly and thus end up with awesome camera goodness but woeful incompetnce and a lack of any artistic flare resulted finally ina little point n click fujifilm thingame!

Congrats on your new camera! I got a new one the day before Christmas, and I think I am developing photographer's elbow or something like that.

I saw your comment on Kyla Bea's page, and as a fellow Texan, I just wanted to say hello!
