I miss him already

When I was about to leave work today, I got a frantic call from Dave.

"Hey, I'm kind of worried that Mr. Orange got out earlier and hasn't come back yet."

"What time did he get out?"

"About 3 p.m., when I got back from Target and was letting the dogs out."

"That's only about 3 hours. He'll be back soon. He always comes back. I'm trying to wrap things up here, but we'll look for him when I get home. Try not to worry. OK?"

The thing is, it's past 11 p.m. and there's still no sign of Mr. Orange.

Where'd you go, little buddy?

We miss you.

UPDATE: Dave was about to go to bed last night at 2:30 a.m. He decided to check the bowl of food we left on the front porch for Mr. Orange. Still no kitty. So he decided, just in case, to check the back door. Here comes Mr. Orange, casually strolling up to the door like nothing ever happened. Dave snatched him up and brought him to me in bed and then set the little orange adventurer on my belly. He was back, and I swear to Pete, he's never going outside again.

nooooooo! my biggest fear is for rosie to get out. she has never been anywhere but our apt, and we live on the corner of two very busy streets. i'm sure mr. orange is on some sort of great adventure. he'll be back soon im sure.

That cat... He was probably hiding somewhere watching Dave freak out and laughing.

Saw someone from the news at the Denton State School today when we were there for the Community Now rally. My son cut loose and taught some disabled people to chant "We're here! We're queer! Get used to it!" and began launching rocks at a state school administrator who was listening from the other side of the fence. That's when the cops arrived....

Sometimes I think my mom wishes my cat Kimchi would leave. But she was a stray to begin with who walked up onto the porch and practically jumped into my arms and never left. I mean, I left for Korea. She's still there....

So glad you found me at Chubbo Chubbington! Hehe. I'm working on a few new things. You can't live in the Rage all the time- it was bringin' me down, ya know? But oh, I've got some good ranting coming down the line!
