I am not a morning person. At least, I'm not one right now.
In high school I would wake up at 5 a.m. every day to do my hair and makeup before class started at 7:15 a.m.
Now I am lucky if I wake up before 8 a.m.
Here I am, of course, posting at like 11:30 at night and after three glasses of wine. It's no wonder that I have a difficult time getting up.
But, before you accuse me of complaining of sleep deprivation, every time I think I'm tired I consider all of my friends that have kids and never sleep.
Suckers.

I've been struggling with a dreadful bout of insomnia lately, I've resorted to self-medicating.
I hope we can both get back on track soon.
I feel like it's because I can't turn my brain off. I think I need to go back to doing yoga more regularly.
I have the exact same problem. I find it impossible to get to sleep at night, and then impossible to get up. I press snooze about twenty times most mornings....
Same problem. I'm a total night owl & never wake up early. If I wake up before 8, I always insist I need twice the coffee. xx
