After 20 kajillion trips to the hardware store, Dave and Mike finished piecing together our backyard deck.
I bought two-way stretch jersey for a new project: yoga leggings.
This is the Noro Iro (75% wool, 25% silk) that I'm using to knit fingerless gauntlet-style mittens. I started and ripped down and started again this weekend.

Ooh, what a cute deck, and deckchair...and trellis, and bush and leaves!
I like your mudroom too.
Wool and silk is a nice mix. Have you ever used it before?
And you'll have to tell me more about the knitted yoga pants.
The wool-silk blend acts mostly like wool, and it's single ply, so it's tricky close to the work, and if you're not careful it will tangle.
The pants are a matte jersey with 50% stretch. I plan on making the body of them purple with a roll-top waistband and leg cuffs in the light mauve.
P.S. The chairs aren't done yet! They're supposed to be a bright red laquer, though Dave *promises* he's going to finish painting them soon!
Oh wow, bright red lacquer *drool*
I am mystified by the idea of matte jersey yoga pants....Here's a question: why are so many yoga pants roll top?
DIY - In my country that stands for 'Matt, step away from the hammer, we've beenn through this before' :D
That sounds like a great weekend, and that is beautiful yarn.
